K. Patricia Prather is an extraordinary change agent in the marketplace. Her passion is to strategically create camaraderie between diverse stakeholders for the purpose of one common goals are beyond amazing. One of her greatest passions is working as a motivational advocate for the youth for over 20 years. As a resourceful bridgebuilder, she has an ardent love for community outreach, especially to the recovery community and people experiencing homelessness.

Patricia is a gifted and influential leader in her community. She is very fervid about working with youth in the community. She is an invaluable and influential mentor to many youths throughout Montgomery County, especially girls and it is important to her to meet them where they are!

The STYLES girls mentoring program was recognized by Governor Wes Moore and the Baltimore Ravens for their outstanding gift of kindness in the community. Patricia was recognized by her employer for her outstanding work and commitment to reducing the number of lives lost to addiction. She was one of the two African American finalists to be honored by the March of Dimes Heroines of Washington committee. In January 2025, Patricia was honored with the Martin Luther King, Jr. “Peace Makers Award” by Health and Human Services.

Patricia is a new and evolving author, penning her first autobiography entitled, “Healing the Little Girl Within” which will be released in 2025 and a Journal for women facing the challenges of Breast Cancer “I WIN”.

Patricia Studied Psychology at Liberty University, Youth Development at Montgomery Community College; Non-profit Management at Duke University and Community Advocacy at Montgomery County Community Action.

Patricia is a MoCo native, residing in Silver Spring, MD. She is the mother of two beautiful daughters, grandmother of seven and great grandmother of one.

Rosa

Rosa is a woman with great compassion for the lost. She shows up to inspire and give hope in hopeless situations. She is a beacon of light that offers her guidance and support while you may be walking through a dark moment in your life. Rosa is zealous about helping people live out their best life and to become the person that God has called them to be. She serves on the prayer ministry at her church and believes in applying the Word of God to every area of her life.

She knows too well how to triumph through adversity. She is a woman that has overcome the grips of addiction and lives a victorious life. Rosa has a passion for walking side by side with women and girls as they conquer the things that keep them bound. She offers hope and inspiration to all that crosses her path. She is a firm believer that “With God All Things are Possible”.

Rosa is a wife, a proud mother of three young men, and one beautiful daughter. She is the owner of Essential Agape, LLC, a Commercial Cleaning Service.
